I'm a graphite pencil artist based in Canada, specializing in highly detailed, realistic hand-drawn portraits of beloved pets from cats and dogs to horses, birds, and other animal companions. Frame-Ready for Your Home
All portraits created in standard frame sizes (such as 8 x 10, 11 x 14, and 16 x 20 inches) are completed on high-quality paper. This means your portrait will be ready to place directly into a standard frame of your choice — no custom framing required. Simply pop it in, hang it up, and enjoy your artwork the moment it arrives.

I offer a range of portrait sizes to suit your space and budget, including standard formats. The most popular options include:
8 x 10 inches - $750.00 CAD
11 x 14 inches - $1200.00 CAD
16 x 20 inches - $1500.00 CAD

Send High-Quality Reference Photos
For the best results, I need clear, high-resolution images of your pet with good lighting. I work from one main reference photo, but sending a few extras helps me capture your pet’s unique personality.
Photo Tips for Best Results:
Use natural lighting (outside or by a window)
Avoid harsh shadows or filters
Capture your pet’s eyes clearly – they’re the soul of the portrait!
Front-facing and 3/4 View at eye-level – close-up shots work best!
Please avoid screenshots or heavily cropped images
If your pet has passed and only older photos are available, I’ll do my best to work with what you have. Feel free to send me multiple images, and I’ll assess what’s possible.
Book Your Spot on My Commission List
Custom portraits are made on a first-come, first-served basis, and I often book several months in advance. If you have a specific deadline (such as a birthday or memorial date), please reach out early.
To secure your place on the list, I require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the commission price. This amount goes toward the final cost of your portrait.
After booking, I’ll confirm:
Your preferred size
The chosen reference photo
Estimated start and completion date
Final Approval & Payment
When your portrait is complete, I’ll send high-quality preview photos for your approval. Once you're 100% happy, the remaining balance is due. Your artwork will be signed and shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Shipping, Duties, Insurance, Tariffs
Please note that shipping, duties, insurance, and tariffs (if applicable) are the responsibility of the collector. I can provide a shipping estimate before you decide to book your pet portrait.
